Diageo Korea said on the 6th that it will host "Whisky Night" in partnership with Shinhan Card and Mastercard for premium card customers.
According to Diageo Korea that day, the event will be held on the 24th at the bar space inside Diageo Korea's Korea branch in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. The event is designed for customers of Shinhan Card's premium products, "The BEST-XO" and "The CLASSIC NEO." It will be held for 50 people selected by lottery from among customers who apply on the event page.
"Whisky Night" will begin with a three-item mini course by Chef Kim Ho-yun, known as "Kitchen Boss" from season 2 of Netflix's Culinary Class Wars. Chef Kim Ho-yun plans to offer a dining experience with food pairings that harmonize with whisky, including ice cream made with Johnnie Walker Blue.
Seong Jung-yong, senior brand ambassador at Diageo Korea, will lead a whisky master class. In this class, participants will taste Diageo's flagship premium whisky lineup, including the duty-free exclusive "Johnnie Walker Blue XOrdinaire," as well as "Johnnie Walker Blue" and "Mortlach," and take time to learn in depth about each product's story and blending philosophy.
