Nol Universe Co said on the 5th that it is exclusively selling early-bird tickets for the "2026 Yeoncheon Paleolithic Festival."
Marking its 33rd year, the Yeoncheon Paleolithic Festival will run for four days from May 2 to May 5 at the Jeongok-ri site area in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi. The Yeoncheon Jeongok-ri site is where a hand axe used by Paleolithic people 300,000 years ago was discovered. Every year, the festival is held with a concept of experiencing prehistoric culture.
This year, a range of permanent programs has been prepared, including ▲ Jeongokrian dressing room (free lending of primitive attire) ▲ Jeongok Paleolithic Olympics (Paleolithic-era experience program) ▲ Paleolithic barbecue (a program where participants grill barbecue skewers over charcoal themselves). There will also be special event programs such as ▲ Jeongok double-horned rhinoceros race ▲ World Paleolithic jigsaw puzzle championship. In addition, an invited singer's special performance, a drone show, and fireworks are planned.
Early-bird tickets are priced at 6,000 won for adults and 3,000 won for teenagers and children. With ticket purchase, Yeoncheon Love gift certificates worth 5,000 won for adults and 3,000 won for teenagers and children are provided. In addition to admission to the Yeoncheon Paleolithic Festival, three individual products, including the "Kkuseokgi Friends collage experience," are also on sale.
Baek Sae-mi, head of entertainment business at Nol Universe Co, said, "The Yeoncheon Paleolithic Festival is a representative capital-area festival where you can savor the warm spring days, and tens of thousands of tourists visit every year," adding, "As the venue is very crowded on the day of the festival, we recommend purchasing early-bird tickets in advance at an affordable price."
