OTOKI said on the 2nd that it released a new glass noodles product, "These days mung bean fine glass noodles," designed to improve cooking convenience.
The new product improves on the cumbersome cooking process of conventional glass noodles. Reflecting the unique glass noodle recipe trends gaining attention on social media recently, it strengthens both convenience and versatility, OTOKI said.
"These days mung bean fine glass noodles" uses mung bean starch and potato starch. It is portioned at one serving (25g) for easy measuring, and it can be cooked easily without soaking—3 minutes in boiling water or conveniently in a microwave.
OTOKI has previously introduced a variety of products since the 1986 launch of "Old-style glass noodles," including flat glass noodles and Chinese-style 18mm wide glass noodles.
An OTOKI official said, "These days mung bean fine glass noodles is designed so people can easily and quickly enjoy a variety of dishes even in their busy daily lives," adding, "We will continue to introduce products that enhance consumers' cooking convenience and reflect the latest trends."
