Mom's Touch said on the 2nd that it posted 89.7 billion won in operating profit last year. That was up 22.2% from a year earlier.
Revenue for the same period was 479 billion won, up 14.6% from a year earlier. According to Mom's Touch, consumer payments (POS sales) at roughly 1,490 stores nationwide totaled about 1.0058 trillion won. It topped 1 trillion won for the first time since Haemaro Food Service was founded in 2004.
Mom's Touch has logged annual growth in revenue and operating profit since its largest shareholder changed in Dec. 2019 to KL&Partners, a private equity fund (PEF). Compared with 2019, revenue and operating profit in 2025 increased 65.8% and 373%, respectively. During the same period, the number of outlets rose from 1,243 to 1,487. The average annual sales per franchise store also came to about 610 million won, up 35.3% from 2019 (about 450 million won).
In particular, a survey of 24 stores that reopened over the six years from 2020 to 2025 found the average franchise sales growth rate to be 216%. One store in Busan posted a 582% sales growth rate through transfer reopening.
Reasons cited for Mom's Touch's growth include platform expansion, stronger marketing and research and development (R&D) competitiveness, and opening strategic stores in key commercial districts. After entering the beef burger market in 2022, the company provided beef patty cooking equipment (such as grills) free of charge to about 1,000 franchise stores nationwide to capture new beef burger demand. Mom's Pizza, which began franchising in May 2023, expanded to 214 locations as of the end of last year based on a shop-in-shop strategy within existing Mom's Touch stores.
In particular, the "Edward Lee Chef Collection" surpassed cumulative sales of 6 million units last year alone. In March last year, right after launch, sales rose 31.2% from the same month a year earlier, marking the highest monthly growth rate since founding. In addition, the company expanded strategic openings such as large company-operated stores and DT (drive-thru) in key commercial districts.
A Mom's Touch official said, "Focusing on platform-based product competitiveness and striving to build a stable growth foundation led to meaningful results, including surpassing 1 trillion won in POS sales," adding, "We will reinvest in new businesses and franchisee support to continuously enhance corporate value."
