Lotte Chilsung Beverage said on Apr. 1 that it will launch the zero-calorie carbonated drink "Chilsung Cider Zero Yuzu."
Lotte Chilsung Beverage explained that, as consumer demand for zero-calorie carbonated drinks continues to rise, it is introducing a new product to broaden consumer choices across various product lines.
Chilsung Cider Zero Yuzu adds a yuzu flavor to the existing Chilsung Cider Zero. The product package keeps Chilsung Cider's signature design while featuring a yellow star emblem and a yuzu image at the center of the label.
The new product will be released in a 355ml can and a 500ml PET bottle and will be sold through online shopping malls, including Chilsung Mall, the official online store of Lotte Chilsung Beverage, as well as at large discount stores and convenience stores nationwide.
A Lotte Chilsung Beverage official said, "We planned this new product to provide a range of options for consumers seeking tasty drinks without calorie concerns," adding, "Alongside the new product, we will roll out marketing activities through various promotions such as product sampling and consumer events, directly engaging with consumers."
The Chilsung Cider brand includes five products: "Chilsung Cider," the zero-calorie product "Chilsung Cider Zero," as well as "Chilsung Cider Zero Orange," "Chilsung Cider Zero Lime," and "Chilsung Cider Zero Yuzu."
