KGC Ginseng Corporation said on the 31st that it will change its corporate image (CI) to "KGC" starting Apr. 1. It is changing the CI for the first time in 14 years as part of a push to leap beyond ginseng and red ginseng to become a global "top tier (Top Tier)" comprehensive health food company.
The new CI keeps the existing form but changes KGC Ginseng Corporation to KGC. It features a dark gray typeface that conveys trust and places the KT&G Group's symbolic Seed mark, which evokes limitless possibilities. The new CI will be applied sequentially to promotional materials and products, including advertisements and the website.
Alongside this, it is also introducing a "hybrid work" system. The hybrid work system diversifies workplaces and work arrangements by considering the work environment and job characteristics. By shifting face-to-face work practices to a non-face-to-face, digital-based approach, it has maximized efficiency and performance without constraints of time and place.
A KGC official said, "KGC, which has led health functional food consumption trends for more than a century, has changed its CI in step with the new era," adding, "We will strengthen global competitiveness and achieve sustained growth through constant innovation."
