Daesang Group said on the 31st that it won two awards at the 2026 MUSE Creative Awards.
The MUSE Creative Awards is an awards ceremony organized by the International Awards Associate (IAA). It evaluates creativity and innovation across various fields such as advertising, design, and digital content, and selects and honors outstanding works each year.
Daesang Group won Gold Winner in the food and beverage social media (SNS) and event categories. In the social media category, the operating strategies for the kimchi brand Jongga and the global food brand Ofood received high marks. By using posts that combined artificial intelligence (AI) technology and memes (internet viral content), as well as easy recipe content, it expanded SNS into a consumer communication channel.
In the event category, the global college student smartphone film festival DAESANG E.T.F.F. was named a Gold Winner. Under the group's core value of "respect," this festival is an exchange program in which college students of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds travel together and produce short films.
At the event held in Bali, Indonesia, last year, 48 college students from 17 countries participated. In particular, it drew praise for developing into a global festival that combined food and culture through K-FOOD WEEK, a collaboration with local restaurants.
Park Eun-young, head of Daesang's Food BU, said, "It is a valuable achievement amid competition with global brands," adding, "We will continue to carry out various activities that allow people around the world to enjoy Korean food culture."
