Lotte Chilsung Beverage will move to bolster its financial soundness by selling its Yangpyeong-dong site in Seoul to Lotte Property & Development for about 280 billion won.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure on the 31st, Lotte Chilsung Beverage decided that day, following a board resolution, to sell the land and buildings of its Yangpyeong-dong business sites to Lotte Property & Development. The disposal amount is 280.5 billion won, and the scheduled disposal date is July 8 next year. The site had been used as Lotte Chilsung Beverage's vehicle maintenance base and sales office, among other purposes.
Lotte Chilsung Beverage said, "After board discussions, we decided to sell the Yangpyeong-dong site in Yeongdeungpo District to enhance financial soundness and secure resources for future growth," adding, "As part of efforts to streamline management, this aims not only to secure liquidity through the disposal of tangible assets but also to build a sustainable business model and strengthen competitiveness in our core business."
To reinforce financial soundness, Lotte Chilsung Beverage has set and is executing a goal to lower its consolidated debt ratio to 100% or less by 2030 (168% as of 2025) and reduce borrowing fund to 800 billion won (1.5872 trillion won as of 2025).
