COSMAX, the world's No. 1 cosmetics ODM (research, development, and manufacturing) corporations, said on the 30th that it won the grand prize in the skincare formulation institutional sector at the 57th Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026, held in Bologna, Italy, from the 26th to the 29th (local time), at the Cosmopack Awards.
Cosmoprof is considered the world's largest beauty trade show, attracting more than 250,000 visitors from about 100 countries. COSMAX was the only ODM corporations to advance to the finals in three institutional sectors—skincare, hair care, and sustainability—demonstrating its technological competitiveness.
The grand prize–winning "1000 Trillion Moisturizer" features a semi-translucent appearance, lightweight feel, and high moisturizing power despite a high oil content. By combining a proprietary bio-conversion technology based on the skin microbiome with a high-pressure homogenization process, it achieved a high-density nano emulsion structure that forms about 1,000 trillion nanoparticles per 1 mL.
COSMAX also won a main award at the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC) in September, with research using hair follicle Organoid to elucidate the "mechanism of gray hair generation," the first such honor for a Korea corporations.
