Hyundai Department Store Group's comprehensive food company Hyundai Green Food said on the 29th it will hold a "short cooking, long cheering special sale" on its official online mall, Greeting Mall, from the 30th to the 5th of next month. In line with the "home viewing (home + viewing)" trend of enjoying sports games on TV at home, it will offer more than 40 home meal replacement (HMR) items at discounts of up to 10%.
The featured products are three kinds of fried chicken bites using boneless thigh meat with three sauces. "Black vinegar black fried chicken (regular price 6,800 won → 6,120 won)," "honey yellow fried chicken (regular price 6,800 won → 6,460 won)," and "peanut red fried chicken (regular price 6,800 won → 6,460 won)" are discounted. In addition, it will discount the "One Table pepperoni pizza (regular price 8,000 won → 7,200 won)," topped generously with pepperoni and cheese on a glutinous rice dough.
It also prepared menus that go well with alcohol. Representative items include "gambas al ajillo (regular price 15,900 won → 14,310 won)," "mala xiang guo (regular price 8,500 won → 8,070 won)," and "ham bomb Songtan-style budae jjigae (regular price 15,800 won → 15,010 won)."
It will also introduce a lineup focused on health. Included are "low-sugar rosé tteokbokki (regular price 4,800 won → 4,560 won)," formulated with less than 2 grams of sugar per 100 grams, and "Greeting vegetarian gyoza (regular price 9,900 won → 9,400 won)," made with a plant-based filling using eight vegetables including chives and shiitake mushrooms.
A Hyundai Green Food official said, "We assembled a variety of products at reasonable prices so people can enjoy home viewing with convenient yet high-quality HMR products," adding, "We plan to continue expanding products that consider not only taste and convenience but also health."
