Musinsa said on the 27th that it opened Matin Kim's second brick-and-mortar store in Japan in Nagoya, a brand operated by HAGO HAUS that is officially distributed in Japan.
Matin Kim's second store opened on the first floor of the west building of Nagoya PARCO, a flagship mall in Sakae, Nagoya's largest commercial district in central Japan. Sakae is a core commercial area that leads Nagoya's local trends and actively draws young consumers interested in fashion and lifestyle. In particular, Nagoya PARCO is connected to Yabacho Station on the Meijo Line, providing convenient access.
At the Matin Kim Nagoya store, the lineup centers on signature items that showcase Matin Kim's distinctive logo play, along with new products for the 2026 spring-summer (SS) season. In addition, alongside popular products that received strong responses at the Nagoya pop-up store held in Dec. last year, the store will sell exclusive editions available only at the Nagoya location, including the beige color of the "Half Shearing Ribbon Square Bag."
Meanwhile, Musinsa signed an exclusive distribution partnership with Matin Kim in Japan in Nov. 2024 and has supported the brand's local expansion. The Tokyo Shibuya store, which opened in Apr. last year, drew about 180,000 cumulative visitors within eight months of opening.
A HAGO HAUS official said, "We expect Matin Kim's unrivaled brand power to expand across the global market at an even faster pace."
A Musinsa official said, "We will continue to combine Musinsa's local distribution capabilities with Matin Kim's brand competitiveness to expand offline touchpoints into major metropolitan cities."
