The Born Korea said on the 27th that it will run a "ballpark-only menu" with enhanced convenience for the pro baseball season.
The Born Korea operates a total of eight brands at the Daejeon Hanwha Life Insurance Ballpark: ▲ Saemaeul Restaurant ▲ Yeokjeon Udon ▲ Baek's Beer ▲ Hanshin Pocha ▲ Yeondon Fried Cutlet Rice Bowl (Yeondon Ball Katsu) ▲ Richun Market ▲ Baek Boy Pizza ▲ Go to Wok. At Daegu Samsung Lions Park, it operates Yeokjeon Udon.
The Born Korea has moved to expand its menu to reflect various situations and characteristics of ballpark spaces. Representative examples include cup-style items that are easy to hold and eat with one hand, set menus that let customers enjoy multiple items, and skewer-style items that are easy to eat while moving.
Yeokjeon Udon offers existing store items in a more convenient format, such as "cup cold udon" and "cup skewer fish cake." Baek's Beer focuses on set menus like the "home plate set" and the "crispy dried pollack cleanup set," offering snacks that pair well with beer during the game. It will also newly introduce "honey beer," fitting for the spring season.
Hanshin Pocha also offers "Hanshin boneless chicken feet" and "cartilage" as rice ball sets, and sells items such as "fried chicken skin," "mango bingsu," and "two kinds of highball." Saemaeul Restaurant will newly introduce the ballpark-only "victory barbecue plate" to coincide with opening day on the 28th. It includes beef cube steak, griddled shrimp, yeoltan bulgogi, coleslaw, guacamole, Mexican dipping sauce, sour cream, tortillas, and milk bread rolls.
A The Born Korea official said, "We will continue to roll out menus tailored to the characteristics of spaces and how customers use them, not only at ballparks but also at concert venues and event sites, to expand on-site customized dining experiences."
