Liangzhudashi Yangyang Manga, imported by J&P International, recorded the top score in the baijiu institutional sector at the 2026 Korea Wine & Spirits Awards and received Best of 2026.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative liquor competition, now in its 13th year. With the goal of "discovering and widely promoting good domestic liquor and supporting the formation of a sound drinking culture," ChosunBiz has held it annually since 2014.
This year's event drew entries from 260 companies with a total of 1,118 brands. It is the largest among domestic competitions that cover comprehensive liquor. Of these, 449 brands received the grand prize.
Liangzhudashi Yangyang Manga is a sauce-aroma baijiu produced in the Moutai Town area of Guizhou, China, and is a product launched by Zhao Daiming, known as the "living legend of sauce-aroma liquor," who branded his "Master" title. Zhao Daiming spent more than 50 years advancing brewing technology at Moutai Group and is regarded as an artisan who inherited and systematized the traditional methods of sauce-aroma liquor.
This liquor is made from red glutinous sorghum produced in the Chishui River basin, undergoes seven rounds of fermentation and distillation from the Dragon Boat Festival's qu-making through the Double Ninth Festival, and is then aged for more than five years by traditional methods. It offers a complex bouquet blending fruit and koji aromas, with a soft yet deep texture. Its key strength is a balanced expression of the distinctive flavor and matured character of sauce-aroma liquor.
