Daily Brewing's "Zero Sugar Craft Non-Alcohol Saenghwal Pale Ale" won "Best of 2026" in the nonalcohol category of the Korea Wine & Spirits Awards 2026.
The Korea Wine & Spirits Awards is Korea's representative liquor evaluation event, now in its 13th year. Aiming to "discover and promote good domestic alcohol and support the formation of a sound drinking culture," ChosunBiz has held it annually since 2014.
This year's event drew 260 companies, which submitted a total of 1,118 brands. It is the largest among domestic evaluation events that cover all alcoholic beverages. Of these, 449 brands received the grand prize.
Zero Sugar Craft Non-Alcohol Saenghwal Pale Ale focused on faithfully capturing the flavor and aroma of craft beer. As an eco-friendly beer that excludes animal-derived ingredients, it completed vegan certification. With alcohol content under 1%, it can be enjoyed without burden.
Whereas typical nonalcohol beer layers flavor onto a carbonated drink, Saenghwal Pale Ale differs by undergoing the same fermentation process as real craft beer. By using a restricted fermentation method with special yeast, it minimizes alcohol production while preserving flavor.
