APR said on the 23rd that it officially launched the new beauty device "Booster Pro X2" through the beauty device brand Medicube Age-R (AGE-R). It is a follow-up model unveiled about two and a half years after the previous popular "Booster Pro," with enhanced features.
Booster Pro X2 is designed on a dual-care concept to improve both energy delivery and cosmetic absorption efficiency. The core is that four electrodes placed on the device surface operate to deliver energy simultaneously to two areas—the skin surface and the deep layer.
The feature lineup has also been expanded. While strengthening the existing Booster Pro's ▲ Booster ▲ Derma Shot ▲ MC ▲ Air Shot modes, it adds ▲ Dual ▲ Mask ▲ AI modes for a total of seven modes. In particular, Dual mode is designed to divide the device area to apply different modes simultaneously, and users can save personalized settings by linking the app via Bluetooth. Mask mode applies new vibration patterns and frequencies, focusing on improving the absorption of active ingredients when using sheet masks.
AI technology is also applied. After linking with the Age-R app and activating AI mode, it analyzes the user's skin concerns, usage time, and device usage patterns to suggest optimal care methods and modes. This enables personalized care tailored to each individual's skin condition.
Ease of use has also improved. The intensity adjustment steps increased from five to six for more precise control, and the experience was expanded with seven LED color therapy options and seven vibration patterns. The voice guidance function was also enhanced to support four languages, creating a user environment for global users.
An APR official said, "Booster Pro X2 is a product that elevates the technology and user experience of the existing Age-R flagship device," adding, "We will continue to introduce technology-based home beauty devices and expand personalized beauty care experiences."
