CJ Foodville said on the 20th that the dining franchise brand "VIPS" it operates was selected No. 1 in the family restaurant institutional sector for the 15th straight year in the 2026 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI). K-BPI is an index compiled by Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) that identifies the brand competitiveness of domestic industries and corporations through consumer surveys and is announced annually by industry.
Opened in 1997 with its first location, VIPS offers a "wine & pairing zone" where customers can enjoy a diverse and fresh seasonal salad bar, high-quality steaks, wine, draft beer, and finger foods. In particular, CJ Foodville said VIPS received high marks in each category in the latest K-BPI rankings, including ▲brand awareness ▲image ▲preference.
According to VIPS, the number of "VIPS Mania" membership members, classified as premium customers, rose 22% from a year earlier. The top tier "Mania First" membership also increased about threefold from 2023. The number of "VIPS Friends" members who regularly use VIPS increased about 33% from a year earlier.
A CJ Foodville official said, "Thanks to the trust our customers have given us, VIPS has been able to establish itself as a beloved brand for a long time," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our brand competitiveness so we can meet customer expectations going forward."
