According to the Financial Supervisory Service's Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System (DART) on the 19th, the chairman received about 17.7 billion won in compensation from major affiliates last year. He received 13.825 billion won from CJ Co., down 11.5% from a year earlier, and 3.918 billion won from CJ CheilJedang, up 4.5%.
Shin Dong-bin, chairman of Lotte Group, received about 14.9 billion won from major affiliates, the second-highest compensation. However, Shin's total annual salary is expected to increase by about 3 billion won once compensation from Hotel Lotte and Lotte Property & Development is additionally disclosed.
Park Moon-deok, chairman of Hitejinro Group, received about 8.7 billion won last year. He received 7.7417 billion won from Hitejinro and 950 million won from Hitejinro Holdings.
Seo Kyung-bae, chairman of Amorepacific, received about 7 billion won from Amorepacific and Amorepacific Holdings. Compared with a year earlier, compensation increased by about 81%.
Chung Yong-jin, chairman of Shinsegae Group, received about 5.8 billion won from E-MART last year, up 62.1% from a year earlier. Chung Yoo-kyung, chairwoman of Shinsegae, received 4.33 billion won last year, up 20.4% from a year earlier.
Chairman Chung's mother, Chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, and father, Honorary Chairman Chung Jae-eun, each received 1.84 billion won from E-MART and 1.191 billion won from Shinsegae.
Kim Ho-Youn, chairman of Binggrae, received about 3.6 billion won, up 10.4% from a year earlier. Orion Group Chairman Dam Chul-gon and Vice Chairwoman Lee Hwa-kyung, a married couple, received about 7 billion won in compensation from Orion and Orion Holdings.
