Lotteria, the burger franchise brand of Lotte GRS, said on the 18th it will launch a new collaborative dessert menu, "Dijige spicy pork cutlet," with the famed eatery Onjeong Donkatsu in Sindaebang, Seoul, on the 19th.
Lotteria collaborated in 2023 with the Cheongju-area favorite "Mandu That Makes Your Mouth Happy" to release Spicy Mandu and Crazy Mandu, and in 2024 it released Uirak fried chili peppers.
Lotteria said it confirmed strong consumer response to spicy flavors and, joining hands with Onjeong Donkatsu, decided to introduce what it calls Korea's spiciest pork cutlet as a dessert menu item.
Onjeong Donkatsu's signature item "Dijinda donkatsu" is well known among enthusiasts for its extreme spiciness. The new product uses Onjeong Donkatsu's signature sauce as is.
The flavors come in two types: "Dijinda flavor" and "seasoned flavor."
Lotteria plans marketing activities using "Tteriang," the Lotteria dessert character, to coincide with the new product launch.
