The Korean restaurant "Itanic Garden" and the Western restaurant "L'Amant Secret," led by Son Jong-won, a chef at Josun Hotels & Resorts, have once again earned one Michelin star.
Josun Hotels & Resorts said that Itanic Garden, a Korean restaurant at Josun Palace Seoul Gangnam, and L'Amant Secret, a Western restaurant at L'Escape, both received one Michelin star at the "Michelin Guide Seoul & Busan 2026," held in Busan on the 5th.
Itanic Garden reopened after a renewal in 2022 and was first selected as a one-Michelin-star restaurant in 2023, maintaining one star for four consecutive years through this year. L'Amant Secret has been selected for one star for six consecutive years since 2021.
Son Jong-won, the chef leading the two restaurants, is drawing attention with appearances on the Netflix cooking variety show "Culinary Class Wars 2" and JTBC's "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator 2." This is the only case in Korea of a single chef overseeing two one-Michelin-star restaurants.
