Nol Universe Co said on the 6th it will cover in full the return airfare and all additional lodging expenses for package customers whose return schedules from the Middle East were delayed by the recent Iranian airstrike situation.
Nol Universe Co will shoulder the full amount of local living expenses such as meal costs during the stay, lodging expenses, and airfare for customers who purchased package products on its platform and whose return was delayed by the Middle East situation. Nol Universe Co is the first to fully cover the return and stay expense for customers staying in the Middle East.
In addition, if customers scheduled to depart for the Middle East cancel their trips, cancellation fees will be fully waived and they will receive a 100% refund. Detailed criteria and procedures will be provided individually.
According to Nol Universe Co, as of the 28th of last month, there were about 200 Nol Universe Co package customers staying in the Middle East, including Dubai, but that number fell to about 60 on the 5th. These customers have also secured seats on return flights and are scheduled to return home in full on the 8th.
Nol Universe Co activated a dedicated response system immediately after the situation broke out and is operating a real-time emergency contact network. It has been providing customers staying locally with frequent guidance on safety rules and return procedures through individual notices. It also secured alternative flights through emergency consultations with airlines in each country, while cooperating with local land operators and partner companies to arrange extended lodging and establish fast, safe return plans.
