Nongshim said on the 6th that it will launch a new snack, Potato Chips Kyochon Soy Sauce Chicken Flavor, on the 23rd.
Nongshim said it collaborated with the popular chicken brand Kyochon Chicken to capture the distinctive flavor of its signature soy sauce chicken in potato chips. Potato Chips Kyochon Soy Sauce Chicken Flavor is part of the Pochelin Guide series, which reinterprets popular dining-out menus as potato chips.
Since 2023, Nongshim has been introducing potato chips in various flavors through the Potato Chips Pochelin Guide project. It has continued collaborations with well-known dining brands such as Yupgi Tteokbokki, Jackson Pizza, and Oldies Taco, and last year released products featuring K-food menus, including Potato Chips K-Seasoned Chicken Flavor.
A Nongshim official said, "We introduced Kyochon Soy Sauce Chicken, a dining-out menu that consistently enjoys love from consumers at home and abroad, as potato chips," and added, "We plan to continue efforts to expand popular K-food into Nongshim's snack category."
