SSG.com said on the 6th that it officially launched SSG Seven Club TVING plan, which combines grocery shopping rewards with the online video service (OTT) TVING's content. The subscription fee is 3,900 won per month.
SSG Seven Club members, regardless of membership type, earn 7% of the payment amount in SSG Money when purchasing SSG Delivery (daytime, dawn, Traders) and Star Delivery items. Coupons for up to 7% off items on Shinsegae Department Store Mall and Shinsegae Mall and free returns for department store mall items are also provided.
To mark the launch of the SSG Seven Club TVING plan, SSG.com will provide an immediate 4,000 won cashback in SSG Money upon monthly subscription payment for three months. Separately, a one-time 5,000 won grocery support credit will be provided upon sign-up.
A friend-invite event has also been prepared. Each time a new sign-up is completed through an invite link sent by an existing member, both the inviting member and the new member will receive 5,000 won in SSG Money.
Bang Seung-jae, head of marketing at SSG.com, said, "We structured it so customers can enjoy both grocery benefits and OTT at a reasonable price," and added, "With the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) league about to open, we expect strong interest from baseball fans."
