CJ CheilJedang said on the 5th that it created a new innovation unit reporting directly to the CEO.
According to CJ CheilJedang that day, the company on the 3rd created the Future Innovation Office, a unit reporting directly to CEO Yoon Seok-hwan. The unit consists of 13 executives in charge of finance, human resources, management, and the CFO across each business division, including the food and bio businesses.
The newly created Future Innovation Office will serve as a control tower in which executives from each business division participate directly to respond swiftly to internal and external changes, speed up decision-making, and review the company's strategic direction.
In particular, the Future Innovation Office plans to focus on: ▲ overhauling its structure by reorganizing around revenue- and growth-centered businesses ▲ strengthening cash flow ▲ innovating organizational culture.
A CJ CheilJedang official said, "We created the Future Innovation Office on the 3rd for disruptive change and innovation," adding, "We plan to secure a foundation for restoring CJ CheilJedang's value to normal levels and for sustainable growth."
