Samyang Foods said on the 3rd that premium protein pasta brand "Tangle" won a main award in the branding & communication design institutional sector at the iF Design Award 2026.
The iF Design Award, organized by the International Forum in Germany, is regarded as one of the world's top three design awards along with the Red Dot Design Award and IDEA. Beyond aesthetic completeness, it evaluates brand strategy, user experience, and execution quality to select the best design outcomes each year.
This year's awards drew more than 10,000 projects from 68 countries worldwide. Tangle received high marks in this win for visually and persuasively realizing its brand identity, "The Evolution of Pasta," Samyang Foods noted.
It was evaluated as effectively delivering a lively and energetic brand tone through a brand logo reflecting the shape of noodles, dynamic product images, and visual elements that capture the liveliness of cooking. In addition, it drew attention for establishing a consistent brand system across all areas, including packaging, advertising, and merchandise, and for proposing a new food culture in which health, enjoyment, and convenience are in harmony.
Tangle previously won the "Superior Taste Award" at the 2025 International Taste Institute evaluation held in Brussels, Belgium, last year, and received main awards in branding and packaging in the communication design category at the 2025 Red Dot Design Award.
