APR disclosed on the 27th that it decided on cash dividends of 1,500 won per share as the 2025 settlement of account dividends. The aggregates of dividends is about 56.0 billion won, and the record date is Mar. 31. The agenda item was approved by the board of directors that day and, after approval at the shareholders meeting to be held next month, is scheduled to be paid at the end of April.
Including this settlement of account dividends, APR carried out more than 200.0 billion won in shareholder returns during 2025. It is a method that combines share buybacks and cancellation.
In Feb. last year, it bought back 30.0 billion won worth of its own shares and canceled the entire amount in Aug., and in July it also carried out an interim dividends of 134.3 billion won (3,590 won per share). Adding the 60.0 billion won worth of treasury shares acquired in June 2024 and canceled in Jan. 2025, the cumulative shareholder returns over the two years since listing come to nearly 300.0 billion won.
APR posted record results last year with consolidation basis revenue of 1.5273 trillion won and operating profit of 365.4 billion won. The dividends is also expected to help improve shareholders' real rate of return.
APR said the dividends is expected to meet the requirements of the "high-dividends dividend income separate taxation special case" implemented in Jan. this year. In that case, there is an effect of improving after-tax dividend revenue for shareholders eligible for the special case.
Previously, if financial income exceeded 20.0 million won, a progressive tax rate of up to 45% was applied by adding it to other income, but starting this year, for listed corporations that meet certain requirements, a new system applies that taxes dividend income separately from other income. However, specific applicability may vary depending on individual income requirements.
An APR official said, "Marking the second anniversary of our listing, we decided on an active return policy to share our achievements with shareholders," and added, "We will continue to increase corporations value based on business competitiveness and grow together with shareholders."
