Mom's Touch said on the 27th that it will raise prices on some menu items starting on the 1st of next month.
This price adjustment is the first in about 1 year and 5 months since Oct. 2024. It applies to 43 items on an a la carte basis and will increase by an average of 2.8%.
Thigh-patty burgers will rise 300 won, Big Thigh Boneless Chicken 1,000 won, boneless gangjeong 100 won, and soft drinks 300 won. Accordingly, the flagship "Thigh Burger" a la carte will go from 4,900 won to 5,200 won, "Fried Big Thigh Boneless" from 11,900 won to 12,900 won, "Cajun Rice Cake Gangjeong" from 4,300 won to 4,400 won, and soft drinks from 1,600 to 1,900 won, respectively.
However, 55 items will keep their existing prices, including ▲ chicken breast, bulgogi, and beef patty burgers ▲ bone-in chicken and Wow boneless chicken ▲ sides such as french fries and cheese balls.
A Mom's Touch official said, "We have made every effort to hold the line on price increases, but with the across-the-board rise in accumulated materials and supplies costs and logistics costs over the past 1 year and 5 months, the strong won-dollar exchange rate trend, and labor costs and other expenses involved in overall store operations, there were continuous requests from franchisees for price adjustments." The official added, "While working to minimize the number of items subject to increases, we finalized the increase range and target items after sufficient consultations with multiple franchisee councils."
