Woowa Brothers, which operates Baemin, said on the 26th it will overhaul the names of partner-facing services. The move appears aimed at advancing toward a more user-friendly platform.

The overhaul, implemented to align the names of Baemin services used by partners with current delivery methods as well as their purposes and structures, takes effect today.

Baemin divided partner-facing services into "order types" and "advertising." Previously, services used by Baemin partners were grouped under a single category of "ad products." Order types are the services a store basically uses to receive orders on Baemin. Advertising is a product that partners who want additional exposure for their stores can voluntarily select and use.

Accordingly, each service name under order types will also change to match the actual delivery method. "Baemin 1 Plus" becomes "Baemin delivery," "Open List" becomes "store delivery," and "Baemin pickup order" becomes "pickup."

The revised service names will be applied to the Baemin Foodservice Plaza website, self-service, publications, and terms of use. Baemin plans to refine guidelines in line with the overhaul and provide ongoing guidance. However, this change applies only to service names and classifications.

A Woowa Brothers official said, "We proceeded with the renaming to minimize confusion when using the services and to help partners focus more on running their stores and growing sales," adding, "We will continue to build a consistent service system that is easy to understand from the partner's perspective."
