EDIYA COFFEE said on the 24th it opened a new store, "EDIYA COFFEE Royal Marina Hangang."
According to EDIYA COFFEE, it opened a new store the previous day at Jamwon Hangang Park in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The newly opened Royal Marina Hangang store is a large location of about 140 pyeong. The interior centers on warm tones, and a full-height glass facade lets customers take in yachts moored at the pier and views of the Han River at a glance. The company said it strengthened the "riverside cafe" concept that offers an open, vacation-like feel in the city.
A commerce MD (merchandising) zone sits at the center of the store. It allows customers to browse Ediya stick coffee, hand-drip coffee, tea products, tumblers, and other merchandise in one place. It also plans to expand customer experiences by operating a tasting booth where visitors can sample and then purchase Ediya steady-seller stick coffee and new commerce products.
It also plans to introduce set menus to attract customers who want to enjoy a meal or brunch after a light workout along the Han River. Eight meal-replacement items such as salads and sandwiches are combined with an Americano or a cafe latte.
In addition, to mark the opening, it is holding an event that will award Han River yacht tour vouchers to a total of 25 people selected by drawing from among customers who leave comments on an Instagram event post. Winners can use the yacht experience on the 29th of next month. EDIYA COFFEE plans to continue the yacht experience event on a regular basis.
An EDIYA COFFEE official said, "Royal Marina Hangang is a space that brings an unusual view of yachts and the Han River into the store," adding, "We will establish it as a city retreat by strengthening experiential elements such as the commerce MD zone and the operation of a tasting booth."
