Dong-A Otsuka said on the 24th that it released two new Linebassa sparkling water flavors, "passion fruit" and "cherry."
Dong-A Otsuka said the passion fruit flavor combines the tropical fruit's signature tart, refreshing brightness, while the cherry flavor features a blend of sweet-and-sour notes with a fizzy snap.
The brand name Linebassa means "clear and clean water" in German. While typical sparkling water is made by injecting carbon dioxide into purified water, Linebassa uses natural bedrock water.
A Dong-A Otsuka official said, "Linebassa is a sparkling water that, unlike conventional purified-water-based options, is filled with drinking spring water for a clean taste and outstanding refreshment," adding, "With the newly released passion fruit and cherry, we expect to offer consumers a more diverse and new sparkling water experience."
The two new Linebassa products are sold through major online retailers.
