Gmarket said on the 23rd that it has added the cross-border e-commerce platform specializing in overseas luxury brands, MXN Commerce Italy (hereafter MXN), to its marketplace.
MXN is an overseas direct-purchase platform that showcases popular foreign brand products based on a database (DB) of more than 200,000 luxury items. It handles only authentic goods and supports overseas shipping and customs clearance end to end. The company said even customers without direct-purchase experience can use it with confidence.
To mark MXN's launch, Gmarket prepared various promotions. For one week through Mar. 1, it will run a "spring luxury overseas direct purchase" event and offer an 8% discount coupon and a 10% overlapping brand coupon to all Gmarket customers.
In particular, the "daily brand specials," which feature different brands each day, offer stronger discounts. By stacking an 8% discount coupon with a 12% overlapping brand coupon, customers can receive up to 20% off.
The main discounted brands by day are as follows: ▲ Ganni and Stone Island (Mon, Tue) ▲ Burberry (Wed) ▲ Max Mara (Thu) ▲ Gucci, Longchamp, and Dragon Diffusion (Fri, Sat) ▲ Birkenstock, On Running, Camper, Premiata, and New Balance (Sun). Event products are offered in limited quantities at special prices and may end early when prepared stock runs out.
A Gmarket official said, "As customer demand for overseas luxury continues to grow, we have further strengthened product competitiveness through collaboration with a highly trusted platform," adding, "With various discount coupons and daily brand specials, customers will be able to experience popular luxury goods at reasonable prices."
