Seo Ho-jung, 31, the second daughter of Amorepacific Chairman Seo Kyung-bae, sold all the company shares she owned and part of her Amorepacific Holdings shares on the market.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's Data Analysis, Retrieval and Transfer System (DART) on the 20th, Seo sold 256,795 shares of Amorepacific Holdings in five transactions on the 11th–20th. The amount is about 8.866 billion won. Her equity stake fell from 2.49% to 2.28%.
Earlier, on the 11th, Seo also sold all 7,880 shares of Amorepacific that she owned. The amount is about 1.2 billion won.
In this round, Seo disposed of about 260,000 shares worth about 10.066 billion won. The company said it was to raise funds to pay gift tax.
In Nov. last year, Seo also sold 62,382 shares of Amorepacific Holdings, worth about 1.9 billion won.
Earlier, in May 2023, Chairman Seo gifted Seo 672,000 common shares and 1,728,000 preferred shares of Amorepacific Holdings.
