E-MART24 said on the 11th that it will launch five ready-to-eat items, including lunch boxes and bar snacks, created in collaboration with chef Park Eun-young, who appeared as the "Chinese cuisine goddess" on Netflix variety show Culinary Class Wars.
Key products include the lunch box "Sichuan-style dak-galbi set (6,400 won)," which preserves Sichuan-style heat and aroma using doubanjiang and marjoram oil, "Hoisin kimbap (3,700 won)" made with hoisin sauce, and "The Big Kung Pao Chicken triangle kimbap (2,200 won)" featuring spicy chicken and peanuts.
It will also release the "Cantonese-style ketchup tangsuyuk chicken burger (4,200 won)," topped with ketchup tangsuyuk sauce and Cantonese soy-garlic sauce, and the "Goddess mala xiang guo (6,900 won)," which contains fish cake, shrimp, sausage, and more in mala sauce.
E-MART24 will offer a buy-one-get-one (1+1) deal through the end of this month when the collaboration items are purchased using promotional payment methods (Kakao Pay Money/Naver Pay Money or points/Toss Pay Money or bank account). If preordered through the mobile application (app), the other four items, excluding mala xiang guo, can be purchased at a 30% discount.
Star-chef collaboration items released by E-MART24 are selling well. The six ready-to-eat items launched in Nov. last year with Josun Hotels chef Son Jong-won have remained among the top sellers to date. In particular, the "tteok-galbi set lunch box" ranked No. 1 in lunch box category sales for more than two months.
