APR's flagship beauty brand Medicube surpassed 1.4 trillion won in sales last year.
APR said on Jan. 9 that Medicube's annual brand sales, combining the cosmetics and AGE-R beauty device segments, exceeded 1.4 trillion won last year.
Medicube joined the 1 trillion won single-brand sales club 10 years after its launch. This is the highest sales on a single-brand basis among domestic beauty brands.
In particular, cosmetics sales grew more than threefold from a year earlier, topping 1 trillion won. Skincare products such as "Zero Pore Pad," "Collagen Night Wrapping Mask," and "PDRN Pink Peptide Ampoule" drew attention.
The beauty device segment also kept up its growth. Last year, Medicube's beauty device sales exceeded 400 billion won. Compared with 2021, when AGE-R was launched, that is about 100 times growth.
APR plans to accelerate its global expansion this year with Medicube at the center. In cosmetics, it will launch hair and body lines, and in beauty devices, it plans to unveil new products.
An APR official said, "This result comes from building trust in the global market based on excellent product performance and technological competitiveness," adding, "We will continue to become a beauty brand representing the global market beyond K-beauty through innovative beauty solutions."
