The North Face, the global outdoor brand of Youngone Outdoor, on Feb. 5 unveiled the official uniforms of the Korea national freestyle skiing team ahead of the opening of the winter sports competition.
The North Face has sponsored the national freestyle skiing team since 2012. To help national team athletes perform at their best, it provides high-performance products that have undergone field tests by athletes on The North Face Athlete Team.
The "Whistler GTX ski jacket and pants" to be used as the official uniform are among the flagship products of the Summit Series, The North Face's top-tier technical line. They use GORE-TEX material with excellent breathability, including waterproofing and windproofing, and enhance ventilation with laser holes at the front neck and zippers under the arms.
In addition, a detachable snow skirt and various storage spaces such as hand pockets, chest pockets, and sleeve pockets are designed to store goggles and ski gloves separately, improving convenience.
The "Whistler GTX ski pants" also use GORE-TEX material, and apply CORDURA fabric to the inseam and a zipper to the upper inseam to improve durability and ventilation.
The "Buvet hoodie jacket," used as a training jacket, is a hybrid lightweight padded piece with high versatility. Layering it with the GORE-TEX "Whistler GTX ski jacket" can further enhance warmth, and it is also suitable for high-intensity training or as an outer layer in the transitional seasons.
As fill, it uses the in-house developed synthetic insulation "Ecoloft," which offers higher warmth for the same thickness and excellent stretch and durability. The outer fabric is treated with a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish to block cold and rain during winter outdoor and sports activities.
