Lotte GRS said on the 4th that it has newly opened the food court business site "Plating T1 A/S" at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 (T1). With this, Lotte GRS has opened five food court locations inside Incheon Airport (a total of 1,534 seats), building out its food court lineup.
The newly opened Plating T1 A/S spans about 434 pyeong and can seat a total of 474 diners at the same time. It can accommodate the most people among the food courts operated at Incheon International Airport.
In line with the concept of "a space where Korean lines bloom like flowers," it reinterprets Korean lines and traditional elements, reminiscent of flowers, in a modern way. The graceful curves of hanbok, the texture of traditional Korean stone walls, and the structure of roof tiles are embedded throughout the space to express the natural and elegant beauty of Korea.
Plating T1 A/S operates four in-house brands developed by Lotte GRS: ▲Nadeuri Hoegwan ▲Gyeongseong Bunsik ▲Ontangjip ▲Ttorung Bangkok. Offerings range from representative K-food such as Kimchi-jjigae (Kimchi stew), as well as soft tofu stew and beef brisket bone soup, to earthen-pot tteokbokki, topped kimbap, and Asian dishes.
Lotte GRS currently operates a total of 49 sites inside Incheon Airport, and its concession (Concession, F&B spaces within multiuse facilities such as airports, hospitals, and service areas that are operated and managed under contract by food specialists) business revenue at Incheon Airport through the third quarter of last year rose about 23% from a year earlier.
