Tous les Jours, a bakery brand operated by CJ Foodville, said on the 2nd that it launched "Pochacco's strawberry-banana cake," using the popular character "Pochacco" through a collaboration with Sanrio Characters.
Pochacco is considered one of the most popular Sanrio Characters in Korea. Tous les Jours introduced collaboration cakes with Sanrio Characters during last year's holiday season and, following strong consumer response at the time, decided to release a limited Pochacco cake for this spring season.
On top of Pochacco's strawberry-banana cake sits an acrylic Pochacco ornament holding a heart. Between the moist white cake layers is refreshing strawberry whipped cream, along with banana-flavored whipped cream inspired by the banana ice cream that Pochacco likes.
Meanwhile, Tous les Jours is taking preorders for Lunar New Year products on its app through the 12th. Pochacco's strawberry-banana cake is also 15% off when preordered. The product can be picked up at the desired store and time between the 3rd and the 15th of this month.
