Lotte Mart said on the 28th that it will hold a "table-price stabilization special" from the 29th to the 4th of next month. With food prices weighing more heavily ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, the retailer said it aims to offer reasonably priced items focused on fresh foods in high demand during winter.
Lotte Mart will sell Jeju-grown "win-win radish (each, domestic)" for 990 won for four days from the 29th to the 1st of next month. It jointly purchased 120 tons (t) of Jeju radishes that are small or have minor blemishes with Lotte Super and will sell them at about 50% less than regular items.
Lotte Mart will also offer a variety of seasonal produce at reasonable prices. It will sell "win-win Jeju hallabong and cheonhyehyang (each 1.5 kg, bag, domestic)" for 9,990 won and 11,990 won, respectively. For "all strawberry items (specifications vary by product, domestic)," a discount of 2,000 won per pack will be offered when purchasing two or more packs.
In the seafood section, it will run a seafood sale in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries. "Prepared freshwater eel japonica (100 g, chilled, domestic)" will be sold for 3,377 won by stacking the seafood-sale benefit with a promotional card discount. "Wando live abalone (medium, 10, chilled, domestic)" will be sold for 12,160 won. "Prepared squid (3, pack, chilled, high seas)" will be sold for 8,792 won after a 20% discount.
Popular meats, from domestic to imported, will be widely discounted. Top-grade premium Korean beef, known as hanwoo "Marble Nine sirloin (grade 1++ (9), each 100 g, chilled, domestic)" will be offered at 14,980 won. "Selected grade-1 branded pork, front leg and hind leg (each 100 g, chilled, domestic)" will be sold for 1,990 won and 1,290 won, respectively. For L.POINT members, a 30% discount applies to "imported chilled short ribs for braising (each 100 g, chilled, imported)," and "imported LA-style short ribs (1 kg, frozen, imported)" come with a 10,000 won discount.
Lotte Mart will also offer an "online pre-order for holiday table settings" ahead of the Lunar New Year. From the 31st to the 5th of next month, shoppers can pre-order five types of holiday foods at discounts of up to 3,000 won through the online channel "Lotte Mart Zetta (ZETTA)."
