Lotte Property & Development said on the 26th that it replaced all 21 horizontal kiosks (unmanned information terminals) inside Lotte World Mall with barrier-free (obstacle-free living environment) kiosks.
The aim is to strengthen digital device accessibility for information-vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities and older adults.
The barrier-free kiosks at Lotte World Mall introduced a low-screen feature to match the eye level of wheelchair users. They are also equipped with voice guidance for people with visual impairments and low vision, as well as high-contrast and magnification features.
Individual businesses inside Lotte World Mall, including Lotteria, Angel-in-us, and Lotte Cinema, are also operating barrier-free kiosks.
The new barrier-free kiosks enhance customer convenience by advancing the wayfinding function. They expand the search range from Lotte World Tower and Mall to Lotte Department Store Jamsil and Castle Plaza, allowing users to check stores and the fastest routes across Jamsil Lotte Town.
