Pizza franchise brand Korea Papa John's said on the 23rd it will launch its first new menu item of 2026, "Golden Cheddar Pepper."
The newly unveiled Golden Cheddar Pepper is an American cheddar cheese pizza that emphasizes the original flavor of cheese by topping cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese on a tomato sauce base. It is characterized by enhanced flavor with spicy red pepper.
In particular, cheddar cheese is used to make the crust so customers can enjoy both the cheese flavor and a crispy texture. The cheddar cheese crust is a new crust introduced for the first time through this new menu. It features the salty umami of cheese that lasts to the very last bite.
To mark the launch, Korea Papa John's plans to run a promotion offering up to a 10,000 won discount on Golden Cheddar Pepper orders through March 1. The promotion is available across all channels, including Papa John's online channels, the call center, and stores.
A Papa John's official said, "We will continue menu development so customers can enjoy Papa John's authentic American premium pizzas in a variety of ways."
Meanwhile, Korea Papa John's is conducting a "customer participation social contribution activity" in which consumption experiences in everyday life naturally lead to donations. This year, for six Best Pizza items selected by members of Ive, its exclusive models, the company plans to continue through the end of the year the "Ive Pick & Give" promotion, donating 1,000 won per order to a crisis child support fund run by Good Neighbors, a global children's rights NGO (nonprofit organization).
