SPC Samlip said on the 22nd it will launch four bakery items using strawberries, a popular winter fruit.
The new products use Seolhyang strawberries harvested from farms in the Nonsan area in Korea as ingredients. With high sugar content and a well-balanced acidity, they are mainly used as bakery ingredients.
The new lineup includes "Seolhyang strawberry refreshing cream bread," "Seolhyang strawberry refreshing yopang," "Seolhyang strawberry refreshing sand cake," and "Seolhyang strawberry refreshing goo-deok pie." They are available across various channels, including supermarkets, convenience stores, and hypermarkets.
Samlip noted it is targeting consumers' winter tastes with new bakery products using a variety of ingredients. Recently, it introduced five items, including bakery and snacks, featuring Jeju-grown matcha.
A Samlip official said, "We planned this so people can enjoy the most delicious Seolhyang strawberries of winter in a range of bakery items. We hope people will experience strawberry desserts expressed with different charms."
