Starbucks Korea said on the 19th that cumulative orders for its mobile ordering service "Siren Order" have surpassed 700 million. In connection with this, it is running a Stars accrual event through the 25th of this month.
Siren Order is a mobile ordering service that Starbucks Korea has operated since May 2014. Siren Order now accounts for about 40% of orders at Starbucks Korea, the highest share among 14 Asia-Pacific countries where Starbucks operates, including Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand.
Starbucks said that a review of Siren Order usage by age group over the past five years (2021–2025) showed increases across all age groups in five years.
Starbucks Korea said the performance stems from continued enhancements to convenience since Siren Order's launch, including ▲ QuickOrder ▲ a simple payment service ▲ the introduction of NOW Brewing.
To mark reaching 700 million cumulative Siren Order orders, Starbucks is running an additional Stars accrual event from the 19th to the 25th of this month. When placing a Siren Order of 10,000 won or more using a Starbucks Card registered to a Starbucks Rewards member account or via account simple payment, it will double the benefit that previously provided one "10,000-won Star."
A Starbucks Korea official said, "Siren Order is a mobile ordering service first launched globally by Starbucks Korea and has now become synonymous with mobile ordering," adding, "Going forward, Starbucks will continue to monitor customers' usage patterns and further strengthen user-centered convenience improvements and the personalization of Siren Order."
