Lotte Mart said on the 16th it will sell two gift sets released in an exclusive collaboration with chef Choi Kang-rok during the Lunar New Year advance reservation period (Dec. 26, 2025–Feb. 6, 2026).
Lotte Mart is offering L.POINT members a 20,000 won discount on the "Choi Kang-rok's Naya LA galbi set (2 kg)" and "Choi Kang-rok's Naya, wagyu yakiniku set (MBS 8+ grade)," pricing them at 109,000 won and 149,000 won, respectively. The products were first launched as Chuseok gift sets last year, when a total of 200 sets were sold, drawing a positive response from customers.
Choi Kang-rok's Naya LA galbi set comes with a special sauce devised by chef Choi Kang-rok. Choi Kang-rok's Naya, wagyu yakiniku set includes wagyu bone-in short rib meat, skirt steak, top blade, and chuck flap tail, and comes with soy and wine sauces developed by chef Choi Kang-rok.
Lotte Mart is also selling the "Choi Kang-rok's Naya" series composed of five grilling items (hanging tender, chuck flap tail, top blade, boneless short rib, and thinly sliced pork belly). Lotte Mart first released three items—top blade, chuck flap tail, and hanging tender—in Dec. 2024, and then added two more—boneless short rib and thinly sliced pork belly—in Mar. 2025 to expand the lineup.
The Choi Kang-rok's Naya series applies the "cozy late-night diner" concept proposed by Choi. It is designed not for grilling large quantities at once but for slowly grilling one piece at a time and enjoying it with sauce.
Wine sauce is paired with top blade, yuzu pepper sauce with chuck flap tail and boneless short rib, tangy soy sauce with hanging tender, and spicy doubanjiang sauce with thinly sliced pork belly to maximize the flavor and texture of each cut. Since its launch in Dec. 2024, the Choi Kang-rok's Naya grilling series has surpassed cumulative sales of 300,000 units to date.
From the 15th to the 21st, Lotte Mart will run a discount promotion on five items in the Choi Kang-rok's Naya grilling series. During the event, customers who buy two or more of the items will receive a 2,000 won discount per item, and cross-purchasing among items is allowed. Additional discount events are planned for February.
Moon Sung-mo, MD (merchandiser) of Lotte Mart and Super's livestock team, said, "We captured the philosophy and know-how of a chef verified through a cooking survival program in the products so customers can enjoy a chef's menu at home," adding, "We will continue to sell differentiated collaboration products to enhance customer satisfaction with grocery shopping."
