Paris Baguette said on the 16th that it will roll out new Lunar New Year gift products using the intellectual property (IP) of the Netflix animated film "K-Pop Demon Hunters" ahead of this year's holiday.
The four new products are: ▲ Duffy & Seo-ssi luck cake ▲ PABBA Mungyeong omija roll cake ▲ PABBA New Year's luck set ▲ PABBA Jeju cheonhyehyang pound. Using "Duffy," a tiger, and "Seo-ssi," a magpie—popular characters from "K-Pop Demon Hunters"—the company planned modern designs with Korean traditional elements.
The "Duffy & Seo-ssi luck cake" uniquely depicts a "Hojakdo" against a pine tree background atop a lucky-pouch-shaped cake. The norigae pick adorning the cake can also be used as a real key ring.
The "PABBA Mungyeong omija roll cake" is a K-roll cake that captures the five tastes (sweet, salty, sour, etc.) of Mungyeong omija. The "PABBA Jeju cheonhyehyang pound" is a premium pound cake made with cheonhyehyang. The packages of both products feature the tiger "Duffy" and the magpie "Seo-ssi" in hologram foil.
The company is also introducing the "PABBA New Year's luck set," a comprehensive gift set containing three K-Pop Demon Hunters products. The set includes "PABBA yakgwa tigre," "PABBA dried persimmon pound," and "PABBA mugwort rice cake cookie," among others.
Previously, Paris Baguette collaborated with K-Pop Demon Hunters to release the "Huntrix golden cake." In addition, since on the 9th it has been continuously launching products that reflect the K-Pop Demon Hunters universe and characters, such as the "Huntrix cake," inspired by "Huntrix," and the "Soda Pop cake," which captures the "Soda Pop" stage by "Lion Boyz."
