Otoki said on the 14th that it will supply its flagship ramen to the newly created "Ramyun Library" inside Korean Air's Prestige Lounge on the left side of the east wing at Terminal 2 (T2) of Incheon International Airport, in time for the lounge's renewal reopening.
The Ramyun Library is a space first launched with this renovation of the Korean Air Prestige Lounge and is located on the 4th floor, opposite Gate 253 at Incheon Airport T2. Moving away from the previous approach of mainly offering certain cup noodles, it is designed so visitors can enjoy instant-cooked packet noodles. Reflecting the global popularity of K-food and ramen, Korean Air newly prepared this area to strengthen food and beverage (F&B) content within the airport lounge.
Otoki will supply 14 varieties, including its flagship Jin Ramen, to this space. The plan is to present the company's ramen as K-food content in the globally used environment of an airport lounge. In particular, in line with the usage characteristic of waiting before departure, the strategy is to expand the premium customer experience through a simple yet familiar menu.
An Otoki official said, "The Korean Air Prestige Lounge is a symbolic space used by customers of various nationalities," and noted, "We plan to enable people to naturally experience the appeal of Korean ramen through the Ramyun Library and continue to provide services suitable for the airport environment."
