Gmarket and Auction said on the 14th that they will recruit sellers to participate in the Lunar New Year promotion "Seol Big Sale" through the 18th. They plan to provide benefits such as logistics operating expense and marketing support to maximize sales during the Lunar New Year peak season.
This Seol Big Sale runs from the 26th to Feb. 12. Any seller with at least one sale last year who, as of the 11th, is properly linked to the seller management site ESM PLUS can participate.
In particular, this year they will strengthen logistics benefits to reduce sellers' operating burden and enhance delivery competitiveness. First, for sellers using ambient-temperature fulfillment for the guaranteed-arrival service "Star Delivery," they will offer a 50% discount on fulfillment operating expense. The half-price support for operating expense runs through Feb. 14.
In addition, during the Seol Big Sale period, they will extend the order cutoff time at the Dongtan Fulfillment Center to boost sales. On weekdays, same-day shipping will be provided for orders completed through 11 p.m., three hours later than before, and on weekends through 10 p.m., two hours later.
Marketing support measures for participating sellers have also been prepared. Gmarket will fully cover the discount coupon expense provided to customers and plans to expand product exposure in key areas of the site to increase visibility.
