Convenience store Seven-Eleven said on the 12th it will run a large-scale discount promotion to expand its fast delivery and pickup service, "quick commerce."
Seven-Eleven will beef up delivery application (app) discounts this month. Through the 30th, every Thursday to Sunday, customers placing delivery orders on Baemin will receive discounts of up to 7,000 won.
On Yogiyo, through the 31st, it will run a large-scale promotion offering discounts of up to 6,000 won every weekend and on select weekdays (on the 13th, 14th, 21st, and 27th).
There are also pickup service benefits. For Baemin pickup orders, customers who spend 15,000 won or more will receive a 3,000 won discount. On Yogiyo, a 4,000 won discount applies to purchases of 14,900 won or more.
Kang Hye-rin, Seven-Eleven's O4O platform team leader, said, "Delivery and pickup services have become core purchasing formats for convenience stores," and added, "We hope customers will experience Seven-Eleven quick commerce more conveniently and rationally through delivery-app linked discount events."
