Dining Brands Group said on the 8th that it hired new college graduates through an open recruitment on the 5th.
According to Dining Brands Group, about 2,700 applicants applied for this open recruitment for entry-level employees. Among them, the new hires, called "Young Diners," who were selected through a rigorous interview process, will receive step-by-step training.
Dining Brands Group is running a talent development system centered on the talent development team established in 2024 to help new employees settle into the organization smoothly. The onboarding program for new hires, now in its second year, takes place at the training center and then at each brand's store. Starting with an orientation that includes an office tour and an introduction to the corporations' mission and vision after the welcome ceremony, the nine-day program is structured step by step, from training activities to on-site job practice.
In particular, during the on-the-job training (OJT) that begins on the 12th, they will visit major brand locations of Dining Brands Group, including bhc, Outback Steakhouse, and Warehouse 43, to gain practical experience. On the 15th, after the completion ceremony, they will be assigned to their roles and begin full-fledged duties. A six-month mentoring program will also be run under the guidance of senior diners to help them adapt to organizational life and their work.
Choi Doo-young, director in charge of HR support at Dining Brands Group, said, "We are focusing on early onboarding training so that young talent can take their first steps into society and grow in a stable way," and added, "We will continue to fulfill our social responsibility as corporations by creating jobs for youth employment and fostering sustainable talent."
