Daesang said on Jan. 7 that its official online mall, Jongwon eShop, will run a special promotion for Cheongjeongwon's low-sugar grain meal "Grainbow" through Feb. 28.
"Grainbow" is Cheongjeongwon's healthy ready-to-eat meal developed to match health trends such as slow aging and healthy pleasure, and it mixes meats and vegetables with various grains including oats, lentils, and quinoa. It features a low-sugar design with a balanced profile of the three major nutrients (carbohydrates, fat, protein). It was released in two formats: pouch and cup.
Discounts on package products are also available. The lineup includes "A bowl of mixed grains at home pack," "Office worker low-sugar lunchbox package," and "One-month package." A 45% discount applies to the one-month package consisting of 20 total Grainbow products, with up to 5,000 won in additional reward points. Daesang also said it has prepared a trial pack that lets customers sample five Grainbow items one by one, and a deal that adds one free item when buying three.
An event for a "low-sugar meal kit trial group" will also run, where consumers can try Grainbow firsthand. The trial kit includes a total of 20 Grainbow pouches and cups, plus five Cheongjeongwon LOWTAG low-sugar sauces, including low-sugar tomato ketchup and low-sugar dressing.
Applications for the trial group are open on the Jongwon eShop Grainbow promotion page through Jan. 15, and a total of 10 people will receive the low-sugar meal kit by lottery.
