Lotte GRS, which operates the burger franchise brand Lotteria, said on the 5th it will launch two new "whole-leg crispy chicken burgers" (Greek ranch and fire hot) on the 6th.
According to Lotte GRS, the whole-leg crispy chicken burger lineup consists of "Greek ranch," which uses a ranch sauce with Greek yogurt, and "fire hot," which uses a spicy garlic sauce. Buttermilk and rice flour were used on the whole leg meat. In particular, it features a crispy texture achieved through "multi-drum breading," a continuous process designed so the patty machine rotates several times to pass each stage in optimal condition.
The model for the new product ad is YouTube creator "Calm Man." Calm Man has presented mukbang content for Lotteria's new menu items such as the king pork cutlet burger, mozzarella burger, and squid and crab alive burger.
The new ad video, themed "an unbeatable chicken burger you can't knock," shows Calm Man infiltrating a Lotteria store to analyze the whole-leg crispy chicken burger, only to tout it as a "perfect burger." The video is set to be released on the 6th on Lotteria's YouTube channel "Ria Burger Shop."
A Lotteria official said, "We cast Calm Man as the model by borrowing his caustic yet affectionate image toward Lotteria," adding, "This new product has a whole, juicy chicken leg inside, so it will win over even chicken enthusiasts who love 'crispy outside, moist inside.'"
