Nongshim will continue to accelerate its global territory expansion this year.
Chief Executive Cho Yong-chul of Nongshim announced this year's management guidelines and emphasized global business and performance at the "2026 kickoff ceremony" held at the company's headquarters in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, on the morning of the 5th.
This year's Nongshim management guideline, "Global Agility & Growth," carries the message of solving problems through swift and accurate judgment and flexible execution (agility), and achieving a higher level of performance and sustainable growth (growth) in the global market.
To that end, Cho said the company must further accelerate its expansion into global markets. "Last year, Nongshim continued to pursue change and challenge from a global perspective to achieve 'Vision 2030,' established to mark the 60th anniversary of its founding," Cho said, adding, "This year, based on our accumulated capabilities, it is time to deliver tangible results amid a rapidly changing global business environment." He added, "Let's spare no effort to boost exports, using the completion of the Noksan export-only plant scheduled for the second half as a springboard."
He also emphasized that this year is a meaningful year marking the 40th anniversary of the launch of Shin Ramyun. Regarding Shin Ramyun, the core of Nongshim's global business and a product that has entered more than 100 countries, Cho said, "Shin Ramyun is an indomitable pioneer that has overcome limits with Korea's spicy flavor for 40 years, crossing races and borders, and a trailblazer of K-food," adding, "Like the global nomad Shin Ramyun, which never settled for the status quo and constantly turned unfamiliar lands into new lands of opportunity, let's infinitely expand Nongshim's global territory this year."
He added, "Welcoming the byeongo year, the year of the red horse, let's lead the market not only in global business but also in Korea with diverse marketing and promotions, and become a food company that makes people's lives delicious with Nongshim's unique drive and passion."
